Friday, January 16, 2015 from 2 - 5pm.
Dr. Shakti Butler will facilitate an interactive workshop on the system of racial inequity and guidance on developing ideas and strategies for change.
Participants will leave with a deeper understanding about the system of racial inequity that can be directly applied to analysis, healing and action. They will also learn the skill of strategic questioning - asking the questions that will make a difference in creating personal and social change in service to any issue. A powerful combination of film, dialogue and transformative learning will be used to create understanding, build community, and cultivate non-judgment, compassion, and deep listening.
