Meditation Trust Fundraising Event
TICKET SALES ENDS ON THURSDAY AT 12AM. TICKETS WILL BE AVAILABLE AT THE DOOR.
We would like to offer Transcendental Meditation to those who have suffered the effects of trauma. Studies show potential effectiveness of TM for alleviating symptoms of PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder). This occurs through the provision of deep rest during meditation which neutralizes accumulated stress in the physiology.
It is then with great joy that we would like to invite TM meditators, other types of meditation practitioners and anyone interested in meditation to join us in a fundraising night to help us achieve our mission.
The night will start with the opportunity to take part in a big group meditation. Not only do this meditations have a profound effect on the individual, but they also create brainwave coherence in the surrounding environment which contributes to create more peace and harmony. Those who currently don't have a meditation practice will be instructed in a simple mindfulness technique.
Following that the lovely Celia Delaney will be taking the stage to host a night full of thrilling live performances by Hannah Rees, Anita Kelleher and Nisha Halai. From Bollywood vibes to participatory singing there will be plenty of smiles on your faces.
Thanks to our sponsors there will be a raffle draw with some pretty amazing prizes, including:

Tickets are only £15 and include a raffle ticket worth £2.50. More raffle tickets will be available to buy during the event or are available to buy online if you can't attend but still would like to make a contribution.
