Living in the Zone
Wesley Walker is an endurance athlete and cancer survivor passionately interested in consciousness and human movement. As part of a four month journey, Wes recently spent time in the Copper Canyon region of Chihuahua, Mexico running and learning with the Raramuri indigenous peoples (also known as the Tarahumara) who are well known world wide for their extreme endurance running abilities.
Wesley will be speaking on his experiences among the Raramuri, the 50 mile ultra marathon described in the recent bestselling book Born to Run, the nexus between consciousness and human movement, and how we are all capable of experiencing Flow/Zone states in our everyday exercises of choice.
