The Cody Rivers Show presents 'A Poke in the Wound,' its latest volume of original work. 'A Poke in the Wound' is an surreal amalgamation of of themes, characters and storylines seamlessly joined through breakneck leaps between universes where mysterious rules are always in effect. Scenes change in a snap or ooze into one another inexplicably. A dance becomes a lecture. A slow-motion rescue becomes a hilarious tragedy. The unpredictable pacing, circus-inspired face paint and unexpected juxtapositions shatter audience expectations and lead viewers deep into absurd realms where laughter is often the only thing that makes sense.
