The Summer Herbal Kitchen
This is a special hands-on cooking class, the best seasonal herb recipes of fresh herb expert and NYWCA member Nissa Pierson of Ger-Nis International. The class will be offered to NYWCA members and their friends each season featuring seasonal herbal recipes for all four seasons. This first class; The Summer Herbal Kitchen, will cover the summers most prolific herbs; basil, rosemary, cilantro, lemon thyme marjoram, mint and lavender. The group will prepare and eat the dishes together as the class progresses.
Recipes include: Strawberry Mint Fizz (non alcoholic), Rosemary Gin Tonics, Lavender Lemon Drop, Cilantro Lime Honeydew Prosciutto Bites, Orzo Marjoram Pasta Salad, Zucchini Basil Gratin, Grilled Chicken with Lemon Thyme Asiago Pesto, Roasted Stone Fruit with Herbed Meringue. (Wine will be served at this event)
