| Description |
Ten Red Hen Productions, the artistic team behind last year's {99-Cent} Miss Saigon, now presents CLOWN BIBLE. Combining the performance language of clown with a full musical score, acrobatics and dance, and working primarily from Biblical text, "we have translated the tales of the Bible, familiar and obscure, into a highly secular, totally theatrical, experimental live event."
CLOWN BIBLE specifically traces the running gags of masculinity, power, corruption and failure that run throughout the Holiest of Texts in the relationship between man and God, and through God's own evolution from Creation through Resurrection. It has been created with an outstanding ensemble of performers that includes Jane Chen (The Chinese Clown Cabaret) as God and Jesus.

Sliding Scale $15-20. No one turned away for lack of funds.
Since the show is based on Bible stories, there are a number of adult situations that are not appropriate for young children. We welcome families with teenagers.
We stop selling tickets online at 2:00pm the day of performance. After 2:00pm, you can only buy tickets at the theater. Box office opens at 7:00pm.
