Cooking Up Community with Community Kitchens NW
Community Kitchens Northwest is an organization with branches throughout the Puget Sound Region united by a vision of bringing people together to share in:
* Learning ways to save money while still cooking healthy and wholesome foods
* Developing confidence and skill in preparing great food
* Bringing all community members together in a welcoming place to get to know each other and support each other in healthy cooking and eating
The "chefs" of Community Kitchens will be cooking up a farmer's market dinner featuring beautiful produce from throughout the region with a wide array of main course salads and a seasonal fruit crumble. Learn more about what Community Kitchens are doing, where Community Kitchens are going and what you can do to support the movement. Goldie Caughlan, Nutrition Education Manager for PCC Natural Markets, founder of PCC Cooks Cooking School, and one of the leading voices in the natural food movement in Puget Sound, will be our special guest speaker.
Interested in promoting these goals? Help Community Kitchens get off the ground by attending this fabulous fundraising dinner! Proceeds will serve to help purchase critical equipment needed in each of our kitchens and will assist in developing the infrastructure needed to really grow this organization.
