Five Hours from Paris
Dror Keren, of Adam Resurrected and Aviva, My Love plays Yigal, a divorced taxi driver who really cares about his son and maintains a very cordial relationship with his ex-wife. But he doesn't even know how lonely he really is. When he meets Lina, his son's Russian-born music teacher, he begins a tentative relationship that ultimately blooms into a deep love.

Five Hours from Paris is a tender love story that demonstrates how two people from different backgrounds--Lina is highly educated and well-traveled, and Yigal has rarely left Tel Aviv--can grow together.
The film portrays everyday life in Tel Aviv, with an additional look at life in the Russian-Israeli community.

It's a refreshing movie in many ways because it doesn't involve the political/military issues that tend to dominate many other Israeli films. In the 2009 Israeli Academy Awards, Dror Keren was nominated as Best Actor for his portrayal of Yigal. The film also won Best Film at the Haifa International Film Festival 2009 Israeli Film Competition Award.
