Thee Wild Herring Cabaret, a Smorgasbord of the Avant-garde!

The Swedish Housewife has created this series at West Hall to expose our Little Fishing Village to some very exiting performers. Some of these talents will be new to you while others you will know and get to see a whole lot more of. This series of Five Off The Hook, not your mamma's neo-cabaret shows will rock your boat! Please click on the links for each date for more information about the artists and the show they will be presenting in this series. Some of these shows will be debuts so information may be limited until closer to the date, but you are guaranteed the talent is all Stellar!

October 23 - Our Lady J, "Gospel For The Godless"

"Gospel for The Godless" is a musical celebration of original music, penned by the Lady herself. Inspired by traditional Gospel music services, this show is anything but traditional: Our Lady J promises to deliver a new testament of post-religious gospel music with a rousing set that promises to deliver you from your woes, sans the usual dogmatic baggage.

A self-proclaimed transexual spiritualist, Our Lady J is
revitalizing the genre one song at a time, while remaining true to what gospel music was intended to be- powerful, uplifting music for all of humankind.
