Nighttime Feast Event "Live the spirit of Carnival" Hosted by Chefs Aaron Sanchez, Natalia Machado, Roberto Santibanez, Sue Torres, Alex Garcia & Julian Alonzo.
In this evening event, the magic of carnival comes to Astor Center. Experience La Gran Plaza at night, where our tastemasters will treat you to a colorful showcase of music, color and exotic Latin flavors. Similar to our day event, come and indulge in the delicious cuisines of 6 of our tastemaster chefs, exotic Latin inspired cocktails prepared by 9 of the best mixologist and bartenders in New York City, as well as a varied showcase of the best wines and coffees from Latin America. All in a colorful carnival atmosphere! (Ticket price includes all food and beverages).
Carnival is a time-honored tradition throughout Latin America, help us celebrate with a feast of gourmet cuisines from Ecuador, Cuba, Argentina, Mexico, and the Dominican Republic. Our top tastemasters will present exquisite foods infusing, flavors, styles, and textures into their regional cuisines. Enjoy from the all-time classic Argentinean churrasco to sumptuous interpretations of Mexican and Peruvian cuisines, among the many other original creations featured in this Latin feast event.
Of course no carnival is complete without Latin inspired cocktails by top master mixologists and bartenders from spiced-up piscos, mezcales and tequilas, as well as all-time classics like rums, vodkas, bourbons and brandies. Enjoy South American wines from Chile, Uruguay, Argentina and Brazil. And last but not least, we bring you the best gourmet coffees and chocolates from countries like Ecuador, Colombia and Guatemala.
Eat, drink, and dance your way through the evening, as we present the sights and sounds of a Latin carnival.
4% of all event ticket sales will benefit Grow NYC's (formerly the Council of the Environment of New York City) New Farmer's Development Project that helps immigrant farmers New York's Hudson Valley & Catskill Regions, New Jersey and northeastern Pennsylvania.
