Meet the Change
Meet the Change is an open invitation to change-makers from across the spectrum: teachers and students, social workers and social entrepreneurs, artists and lawyers, investors and innovators, organizers, educators, and agitators -anyone and everyone seeking co-conspirators for activating their Jewish and social justice values. Each event present the efforts of a featured change-maker while encouraging attendees to connect with one another around their own ideas, desires, and plans for making change.
Our launch event will feature Boaz Frankel, founder of the Un-Road Trip. Boaz is currently working for the Earth Day Network, using his powers of media persuasion to communicate about their network of 60 national campaigns. Boaz's belief in the power of community, and his love for the absurd (he also runs a kazoo museum) led him to take the 12,000 mile "un-road trip," arguing that "When you drive in a car, you're essentially traveling through your community in a box."
Join us to hear from Boaz about what it takes to build a network to actualize a vision, and to network with old and new friends committed to working for justice.
