Starmites
Ensemble Theatre Company (ETC) is mounting a brand-new production of the zany pop-rock musical "Starmites." With music and lyrics by Barry Keating and book by Stuart Ross and Keating, "Starmites" is a 1989 Tony Award-nominated musical that still has the power to transport audiences to a whole new universe. Dreaming her way into a comic book adventure in Innerspace, earthling Eleanor is thrust into a quest to save the galaxy. It is Eleanor, Space Punk, the Starmites, and the lizard man against the evil Banshees (weird women with dangerous hair-dos) led by Diva and Shak Graa. Director Steve Edlund has re-envisioned "Starmites," retaining the retro graphic novel feel while adding exciting new elements, including puppetry, special effects, and much more!
