The Waitstaff Presents: The Mother of All Sketch Comedy Shows
The Waitstaff, Philadelphia's premier sketch comedy troupe is performing "The Mother of All Sketch Comedy Shows" on May 16, 19, 20 and 23 at L'Etage Cabaret. Domenick Scudera directs this fast paced evening of comedy sketches written and performed by Jim Boyle, Sara Carano, Gerre Garrett, Chris McGovern and Eric Singel.
When asked to explain the audacious title of their new show, Chris McGovern declares, "We are always amused by the fact that that people who haven't seen us think we do improvisational comedy. "The Mother of All Sketch Comedy Shows" is crafted loosely around the theme of motherhood. In fact, we're writing a sketch in which a Waitstaff sketch is 'born.' Wait till they see that one!"
