The run of HOT GREEKS is sold out! We'd love to see you at The Hypnodrome for Thrillpeddlers' PEARLS OVER SHANGHAI which continues the 2nd year of its run.

Please Note: HOT GREEKS performs on Thursdays at 8:00 pm and on Sundays at 7:00 pm. On-line ticket sales end two hours before curtain time. If you would like to check on ticket availability after that time please call 415-377-4202.

About SEATING OPTIONS at Thrillpeddlers' Hypnodrome:
Our intimate venue seats only 45 guests, so we do recommend purchasing your tickets in advance. "General Admission" seats are filled on a first-come basis and we encourage patrons to arrive early (the doors open a 1/2 hour before show time). For couples seeking privacy and an extra jolt during the HOT GREEKS blackout scene, the Hypnodrome's signature "Shock Box" seats are well worth the higher ticket price of $69 per couple. Winner of SF Weekly's "Best of San Francisco 2008" Award for "Best Bonus Theater Experience" Hypnodrome's "interactive audience-invading" Shock Boxes are themed loveseats (Heaven and Hell, The Pharaoh's Tomb, and The Asylum of Shock), that offer the same opportunity for illicit trysting that was once a feature of the Parisian Theatre du Grand Guignol - thanks to a sheer curtain that can be drawn to conceal the goings on inside each private booth. A "Shock Box" couple can see the show, but the show cant see them! In our "Turkish Lounge" for two, couples may bask in decadent languor and kick back among oriental carpets and silken pillows while enjoying the show.

About HOT GREEKS:
In HOT GREEKS college rhythm meets the Peloponnesian War as Athens University takes on Sparta State for their annual pigskin showdown. This musical, loosely based on Aristophanes' LYSISTRATA, features the Tri Thigh Sorority girls jiving to the big-band hit parade sounds of the 1940s. The kids sing and dance through the ruins, on their way to consult the Oracle of Delphi (The Hot Twat of Tangier) in their pursuit of victory on the gridiron where quarterback Pendulum Pulaski, the Scarlet Helmet Boy, saves the day for the Gods and Greece.

Originally produced as a Nocturnal Dream Show and performed at midnight at the Palace Theatre in Chinatown in SF, HOT GREEKS was the fabled and fabulous Cockettes' only other scripted book musical besides PEARLS OVER SHANGHAI. The Thrillpeddlers revival will be coupled with a floorshow of selections from other Cockettes shows including: LES ETOILES DU NUIT, TINSEL TARTS IN A HOT COMA, and VICE PALACE. The Floorshow will occur nightly after a short intermission at the end of performances of HOT GREEKS.
