Untying My Cement Shoes
Shock artist or con artist, Jerry Jerry reveals his new painting at Galerie Gestalt's must-see opening of the season. Can a 48x60 canvas possibly hold the generations of people and stories that converge in a single moment? Part installation, part theatre, this show examines the intersection of art and commerce, present and past, human bodies and history.
Conceived and directed by Jeffrey Frace, created and performed by the ensemble. Entry by donation, $9.99 suggested minimum: all proceeds benefit the graduating class' showcase tour. Show is approximately one hour long with drinking and dancing to follow.
