Most Dangerous Women

MOHAI
Seattle, WA

In Honor of Women's History Month, MOHAI presents a readers' theater documentary of the international women's peace movement. Chronicling a century of activism, the performance features such voices as physician Helen Caldicott, Native American writer and musician Joy Harjo and Nobel Peace Prize winners Wangari Maathai and Aung San Suu Kyi.  Directed by co-author Jan Maher with a cast from the Seattle Girls' School and the musical duo, Rebel Voices. Historian Howard Zinn has said of the play, "If Most Dangerous Women were performed in schools across the country we might well see a new generation of young people dedicated to ending the scourge of war."
