Tenacious Roots
March 21May 16* Saturdays 10am-3pm Ages 15-19 *No session April 18 This is your park. This is your community. Earn 40 community service hours in this 8 week course restoring habitat in Seward Park for people and wildlife while exploring environmental careers and meeting environmental advocates and professionals. You will learn the communication, decision making, and problem solving skills needed to lead a team. You will practice these skills as you plan and execute three public service projects including Earth Day and Seward Park Day of Service. By completion, you will produce a digital story to document and share your experience at Seward Park. Participants are required to attend all sessions. Lunch and transportation tickets provided. Priority Deadline March 6. Final Deadline March 13.
