American Dream.
The maD Scene Theatre Company has teamed up with the Gangbusters Theatre Company and 2005 Ovation Award Winning Director Scott Cummins for Howard Korder's "Search and Destroy".
Search and Destroy tells the tale of Martin Mirkheim, a loser in debt to the Florida Bureau of Taxation for over 40 grand. His marriage is shattered and his entertainment booking business is a failure. Trying to achieve something in his life that matters, he embarks on an adventure to make a film. As obstacles arise, Martin finds he is willing to do whatever it takes to make his dreams come true. Ultimately, the more Martin searches, the more he destroys of himself.
The cast features Bart Petty, Christian Levatino, David Castellani, Amy Farrington, Sierra Fisk, Fontaine, Hutchins Foster, Mancini Graves, Chet Grissom, David Guerra, Matthew Heron, Trent Hopkins, Mary Kelsey, Stephanie Manglaras, and Matthew Mann. 2005 Ovation Award winner Lindsay Jones contributes sound design.
