Beauty's Daughter
UPROOTED company member Marti Gobel reprises her starring role in Dael Orlandersmith's one woman show. The play chronicles the main character, Diane,'s escape from Harlem via her poetry. Orlandersmith uses spoken word and expertly crafted characters to tell the tale. Come watch Ms. Gobel portray Diane and the four main people that affect her life. UPROOTED Artistic Director Dennis F. Johnson directs.
