Adult Underground Railroad
Underground Railroad Program for Adults
Friday, May 9th 7:30-9:30pm
Come experience the travels of an 1850's runaway slave. You'll move from safe house to safe house with your conductor and meet Harriett Tubman, William Wakeman, a sheriff and bounty hunter. This extraordinary program is geared to adults and adapted from Ambler Farm's highly successful fifth grade program. Be prepared for a moving experience with some moments of suspense/surprise.
Following the simulation, we will have a wine and cheese reception in the Carriage barn for all of our participants.
Cost: $40/member; $45/non-member.
Registration opens to members and non-members on April 1st.
Note: This program is not recommended for people with heart or mobility problems. Please dress for the outdoors.
