Swiss soccer magnate Franz travels to Addis Ababa to promote his sport. For Admassu, a determined 12-year-old kid living on the streets, the chance to show off his ball-handling artistry to the big boss seems like a magic door to his future as a soccer pro. When Franz ignores him, Admassu talks a group of thugs into arranging a kidnapping, planning to style himself as the football boss' liberator. But nothing goes as planned in this moving and thrill-packed film, shot in the villages, teeming cities and breathtaking wilderness of Ethiopia. For ages 8 and older. In English and Amharic, with English subtitles. Plot includes guns, swear words, and a death, but has a happy ending.
