Raptor Identification

Sharpen your skills in identifying birds of prey. This workshop focuses on the most commonly seen diurnal raptors in Northern California. Of these raptors, some are resident and others migrate through the region heading for wintering or breeding grounds. Learn about similarities and differences among these birds and some of the behavioral traits that aid in identification.
