Tomales Bay Waders & Waterfowl

For a stellar birding excursion and field discussion related to the identification, conservation, and ecology of Tomales Bay birds, bird with John Kelly at the Cypress Grove Research Center of Audubon Canyon Ranch. Spot waterbirds and shorebirds along the shoreline of Tomales Bay, then carpool to ACR's remote Tom's Point preserve at the northern end of the bay.

Where to meet: If you plan to carpool, meet at 8:00 a.m. outside the EAC Office, 65 Third Street, Suite 14, Point Reyes Station. If you're going directly to Cypress Grove, meet at the Cypress Grove Research Center of Audubon Canyon Ranch, in Marshall, at 8:30 a.m.
What to bring: Binoculars, scope (optional), hiking boots, warm clothing, water, snack
