At the age of 13, Yoni is growing up: fast. But, not fast enough, for this diminutive young man who is obsessed with getting bigger, taller and stronger. On the eve of his Bar Mitzvah, Yoni has no choice but to "become a man" when he's faced with the unexpected return of his autistic brother, Tomer, who he has not seen for almost ten years.
During his fast journey into adulthood, Yoni finds out painful truths about his dysfunctional parents. When Tomer comes home, Miri, played by award-winning Israeli actress Ronit Elkabetz (The Band's Visit) has no choice but to confront these issues head on.
Tomer makes his way as he revels in this homecoming and the peaceful world around him. In the end, Tomer's presence brings to light what really matters in our lives.
