Paint The Town Festival presents: KALEIDOSCOPE BY FILSKIT THEATRE
Blink. Blink again. What do you see?
Day by day your world is filling up with colour, little one.
Reds and blues, yellows and greens. Twinkling lights that glisten and gleam.
Your reflection is staring back at you. Wide eyed and full of hope. Mirrors, lights, colours and sounds. The world is your Kaleidoscope.
Kaleidoscope is a brand new piece of theatre for babies aged 6 - 18 months inspired by research into how a baby's sense of sight develops and how they instinctively begin to categorise colour.
Kaleidoscope is Filskit Theatres first piece for babies. Using their unique blend of gentle, playful performance, sound and lighting, babies and their grown ups are invited in to join us as we discover the multicoloured world of Kaleidoscope.
This piece has been made in response to the latest research by the University of Sussex Baby Lab about how babies colour in the world, with mentoring support from renowned Director, Sarah Argent.

All the babies sat captivated, jaws open, eyes wide as if it was the most amazing thing theyd ever seen. Even the most adventurous crawlers were stopped in their tracks.

Standard price: £5.50 for children and £7.50 for adults. Please note adults and children, including babes in arms will each require a paid tickets.
Age Recommendation: Ages 6 18 months and their not-so-grown-ups
Running Time: 25 mins plus 15 mins playtime after the show.
We know how difficult it is to get little ones ready. As were running 3-4 shows a day its really important that we start on time. Wed really appreciate it if you could try and arrive in plenty of time and well have a space for early birds to sit in the cafe beforehand.
This show is billed as part of Paint The Town Festival in conjunction with Battersea Arts Centre and The Collaborative Touring Network.
