Permaculture for Refugees with Rosemary Morrow
In this presentation with Rosemary Morrow, you will learn about her latest work teaching permaculture to refugees. Find out how teaching permaculture in refugee camps will assist in dealing with the future mass movement of people to cities and elsewhere.
Along with a dedicated team of permaculture teachers from around the world, Rosemary is teaching permaculture to people in some of the harshest living conditions on earth. By empowering refugees with permaculture education her and her team are giving them hope, knowledge, purpose, pride and the ability to grow food and not be totally reliant on rations.
100% of the proceeds from this session will be donated to a refugee camp most in need.
Rosemary Morrow is known and revered worldwide for her pragmatic and effective approach to creating permaculture systems across an incredibly broad range of environments. Rosemary has successfully implemented community-scale permaculture systems in such diverse biospheres as Uganda, Ethiopia, Cambodia, Thailand, the Middle East, Australia, and northern Europe, to name but a few. Her knowledge on how to create abundance, food security, and successful sustainable farming models, no matter what the country, is unparalleled in permaculture education today. Rosemary is the author of the Earth User's Guide to Permaculture, The Earth User's Guide to Teaching Permaculture, A Demanding and Uncertain Adventure and her latest book Teaching Matters.
