Seattle Childrens Chorus has been profoundly privileged to represent our city at home and abroad for over 30 years as singing ambassadors. We have celebrated Seattle as a magnificent, flourishing city for the arts. This season, we are choosing to address a heartbreaking reality impacting a great number of youth in our city: homelessness. This problem of teens, youth and young adults making Seattles streets their only homes is growing at an alarming rate. We have a powerful story to tell through our music. We want our choristers, audiences and supporters to join us as we look at this population of vulnerable youth. With special guests, The Pilgrims, a mens chorus dedicated to performances that benefit the plight of homeless youth, we will take an honest look at the problem and sing our hopes for a brighter future.
