As seen on Sesame Street and the Sprout Channel, NYC's Mario the "Maker" Magician is making his way to you! More than just a performer, Mario is also an inventor who creates his own props. He is known for his dedication to the Maker Movement and STEM initiatives and his integration of DIY electronics and robotics into his performance.
Regardless, he never sacrifices the old-school slapstick vibe that audiences so love. Despite his use of cutting edge technology, he presents in a very stylized, vaudeville-inspired, punk rock way. Buster Keaton and Charlie Chaplin for the modern age, with a mad inventor twist.
Mario has made appearances on Sesame Street and NBCUniversals Sprout Channel. He has taken home numerous awards at Maker Faires worldwide. He is also the subject of award-winning indie documentary film, Building Magic. Most recently, Mario was privileged to be a part of the creative team behind David Blaine's first ever North America tour.
Mario works alongside his wife + manager, Katie. They embody their tagline #itsafamilybusiness and travel together, along with their two young children, Gigi and Bear. Follow their adventures on YouTube!
