Comedian, yogini, and workshop leader Alicia Dattner's favorite thing to do is use humor to inspire people. Alicia graduated from Hampshire College with a degree in filmmaking and screenwriting. She subsequently studied for four years in an intensive Progressive Method Acting group with the Rob Reece Actors' Workshop where she studied the Diamond Heart Approach. She brings a vast range of spiritual techniques to her performance.
She has performed standup comedy for over a decade, sharing the stage with talented performers such as Bill Santiago, Arj Barker, Will Franken, W. Kamau Bell, and Vanda Mikoloski. Alicia has been a regular at Cobb's Comedy Club and The Punch Line in San Francisco, and has performed at The Improv and the Knitting Factoryin Hollywood, as well as Gotham Comedy Club and Ha in New York and Gut Rocking Comedy in London. She also has published a hilarious self-help book,Getting Shit Done, hosted a show on Pirate Cat Radio, and started a circus calledThe Latest Show on Earth, which toured nationally.
