The Northcoast Regional Land Trust protects open space and working landscapes in our region, using conservation easements to keep farms, forests, and grazing lands whole and productive. They also restore wildlife habitat (emphasizing that wildlife can co-exist with agriculture), provide educational field trips, and offer a beautiful 3/4 mile public access nature trail at Freshwater Farms Reserve on Myrtle Ave (look for the red roofed barn by Three Corners Market).
