Moving Visions Dance

Moving Visions Dance, formerly Murray Street Dance, was founded by Loretta Thomas who has created Modern Ballet, a new approach to dance education. Inspired by the ideas of the great dance innovator Isadora Duncan, our classes combine Ballet with contemporary dance information including Merce Cunningham and Duncan techniques and following Duncan%u2019s vision that it is not necessary to change the body to meet a certain image of dance. She took dance back to a more natural form to which we have added the current knowledge of technique, taking her once revolutionary ideas and updating them for the dancers of our time.
