Matt Mitchell Music Co Album Release with Little Wolf at the Heartwood!
Join us in the Heartwood Center for a night of amazing music and community. This will be a night to remember for live music aficionados! Matt Mitchell Music Company is an original Americana/Folk/Rock project hailing from the Pacific Northwest. Matt's songs are deeply heartfelt, original and engaging. The lyrics are the heart and soul of the tunes; informing the arrangements to create compelling and relatable narratives. Stylistically the songs are reminiscent of "The Band", leaning heavily on harmony, soulful grooves and psychedelic lead guitar. A Matt Mitchell Music Co. show will not only get an audience moving, but listeners just might learn something about themselves in the process.
"Ramona" Album Release
Matt tracked this full length album at Echo Echo (formerly Type Foundry studios) in Portland Oregon back in February. In contrast to "Captive Of The Mind" this new record leans less towards acoustic folk and more towards rock n' roll. The vibe has been dubbed "high desert, psychedelic americana". This collection of 10 songs was born during the pandemic while Matt traveled throughout the west. He will tell you that he has been exceedingly fortunate to work with some incredibly talented musicians on this project and this album really puts their collective talents on display. This Album Release Party will be very reflective of that collective talent ethos, including talented musicians with history in Sandpoint.
Tickets to enjoy this event and support live music costs only $10 in advance or $15 at the door and youth (5-17) is only $5.
