Mills Folly Microcinema Fall 2002 Season Pass
The Mills Folly Microcinema Fall 2002 Season Pass will grant you admission to up to three screenings for $10 (plus service fees).

The Pass is non-transferable to other people, and can only be used for the October 26, November 30, and December 14 screenings.

If the Pass is purchased after October 26, it can only be used for the two remaining screenings this season. So be sure to purchase before October 26! Sales for Fall 2022 Passes will end on November 30.

Please consider making an additional donation to support Mills Folly Microcinema programming when purchasing your Season Pass. Donor levels are $10, $20, and $50. Unfortunately, only PayPal can be used for transactions that include a donation.

Each screening below will begin at 7:00pm. Doors open at 6:30pm. Please check in at the front desk by 6:45, and we will confirm your name on the pass holder list.

Wednesday, October 26: Microcinema Exchange with Spectral Microcinema (Stevens Point) and Cellular Cinema (Minneapolis). Filmmaker and programmer Kevin Obsatz will present Inland Cinema, a screening of experimental shorts by regional filmmakers and some other surprises.

Wednesday, November 30: Seeing Pink: Videos by Ariel Teal, with the filmmaker in-person for a discussion after the screening. Seeing Pink features a series of personal narrative videos that tell a non-linear story of healing from artist Ariel Teal. The works in this program explore femme embodiment, the boundaries of sexuality and desire, and what it means to be socialized as a girl. This series reflects the attempts to understand love, intergenerational trauma, and experiences of sexual violence.

Wednesday, December 14: Cosmic Rays Film Festival Tour. Look and Learn, a selection of films that investigate the nature of vision and visuality. The program foregrounds the materiality of the image, featuring work that makes innovative use of found footage, archival documents, scientific imaging, new media, drones, and celluloid. These films ask us to consider how the visual world is historically, technologically, and sensorially structured. The Cosmic Rays Film Festival was founded by filmmakers Sabine Gruffat and Bill Brown in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
