3rd Annual GASBHA Conference
Please join us in-person for the 3rd Annual GASBHA Conference on October 28th from 9a-4p at the Loudermilk Conference Center located at 40 Courtland Street NE, Atlanta, GA 30303

The theme of this year's conference is "The Role of School-Based Health Centers in Advancing Health Equity."  Our Keynote address entitled;  "Advancing Health Equity: The Key is Belonging" will be delivered by Dr. Sheryl Heron. Dr. Sheryl Heron is an Associated Dean for Community Engagement, Equity, and Inclusion/Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer, Professor and Vice Chair in the Department of Emergency Medicine, and Associate Director of Education and Training for the Injury Prevention Research Center at Emory (IPRCE); Emory school of medicine.  

In addition, Guest Speaker, Dr. Maria Trent, will present on Using innovation to Address Disparities in Adolescent Health.  Dr. Trent is a Professor of Pediatrics, American Health, and Nursing at Johns Hopkins University, Director of the Division of Adolescent/ Young Adult Medicine, and the Senior Associate Dean of Diversity and Inclusive Excellence at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine

The afternoon will include breakout sessions covering topics pertinent to School-Based Health Centers across Georgia. An additional highlight for this year will be awarding our 1st Inaugural Award: Georgia's Champion in School-Based Health.
