John Bapst Fall Play: Two One-Acts
The John Bapst Players present two one-act plays:
"Booby Trap" by Ed Monk: In the near future, an American soldier sits in a combat zone, trapped by a land mine. As he waits to see what will happen to him, scenes from his past, present, and future unfold around him.
"Perfect Score" by Katie Henry: Four friends -- a hippie, a jock, a perfectionist, and a slacker -- negotiate the college application process as graduation day rapidly approaches. SATs and GPAs are just a part of their worries, as senioritis, awkward interviews, and the pressure to succeed provide even bigger hurdles in the race to the fat-envelope finish line.
