BPFD A Night at the Races - Fundraiser for the Jr. Racing Team
The Blue Point Fire Department is hosting a fund Raiser for the Junior Racing team. The Juniors Placed third this year in the NY state Championship Tournament. The Blue Point Fire Department Junior racing team accepts local youths between the ages of 8-18 and compete in fire department racing tournaments from May - August each year. Members expenses and equipment is all provided by the Blue Point Fire department. The team consists of youths from Bayport and Blue point and practice twice weekly at the Blue Point Fire department. The Bayport fire department provides coaching and transportation using the Red Devils Junior Bus.
The Blue Point and Bayport Juniors are eligible to join their fire departments at 17 and the department has benefitted from many juniors that have become volunteer firefighters at 17 years old.
Please Join us for this Fund Raiser event to help us continue to provide Junior racing team supplies, safety equipment and uniforms for the team.
