Wicked Woman Sewing Workshop!
It has been too long, but we are ready! We know we don't do these often enough, but all the more reason to sign up for this one! We are back and we are ready to help you outfit yourself in the coolest stretchy things you can even imagine. Do you want to have clothes that fit you PERFECTLY because they were designed to do just that?? Then this is your moment.
Wicked Woman Sewing Workshops are the most fun way to spend a day!! Are you ready to make new friends and hang out with old friends over donuts, a nice spritz, sewing, and pole/aerial play? Sign up now! We anticipate this selling out because we only have 10 spaces! Once you experience the glory of making your own clothes, you will never go back. Participants are welcome to stay the whole time or for just a portion. REPEAT, you DO NOT need to be available for the whole workshop, but you are welcome to stay the whole time and hang out if you want to.
Workshop Description:
As many of you know, we make all our own costumes (and most of our own clothes). In our sewing workshops participants learn how to make a piece of clothing under our supervision and leave with a custom piece and pattern, plus the knowledge of how to make more! Also DONUTS and delicious cocktails!
At lease five fabric choices will be provided, but probably many more more. Then we will get to work on making your CUSTOM piece. You will choose to make either athletic shorts/ bottoms, bodysuit/leotard, bralette, thigh high socks, basic tee shirts OR a simple one piece or two piece bathing suit (dark color, no lining). Prices for each item vary so choose the item you want to make or sign up to make multiple items! We will show you how to follow the steps and guide you along the way. We will make a pattern for you to take home along with your piece. There will be downtime and mingling with other participants during which time you are welcome to play on our pole and aerial hammock, have a cocktail, and snack on donuts, will be provided. We are so excited to share this gift of sewing with you all! We encourage women of all shapes and sizes to sign up for our workshops which are very body positive experiences. No sewing experience is necessary. Space is very limited so sign up now!
Cost varies for each item but the range is $50-$110
We want everyone to be safe so you must be vaccinated to come to this event.
