Green Acres Farm Sanctuary Educational Tours 2022
Green Acres Farm Sanctuary is excited to announce that our Educational Tours are back for the Summer of 2022! Green Acres Farm Sanctuary is having three Educational Tours, Aug 14th, Aug 28th, September 11th from 1:00pm to 3:00pm. The Tours are for adults and children (10 and older). Space is limited. The tour last about an hour and half. The tour guests will meet some of the animals, hear their stories, and learn the plight of farmed animals. This year, particpants will recieve a small goodie bag of vegan products and coupons to take home.
Reservations are required to attend. Since space is limited, please only sign up for one tour.
Sanctuary Guidelines:
- Wear close-toed shoes or boots
- There is no smoking or drinking of alcohol on the property
- Visitors under 18 years of age must be accompained by an adult
- No food is allowed
- For the safety of the animals, no personal pets are allowed on the property or left in vechiles while attending the tour.
****Please note: The Educational Tour might be difficult for young children and even some adults. Please use your discreation in knowing if standing and listening to the tour information for an hour or more is appropriate for your child(ren). We will be talking about sensitive subjects that might be distrubing for some children. The animals are never forced to interact with people. There will be limited interaction with some of the animals after the tour concludes.
Please dress appropriately for the weather, as shade is limited.
This is a FREE event, but donations to help care for our animals are always greatly appreciated!
