Dahinsheli
The Tiyumba African Drum and Dance Company presents, Dahinsheli!
A live, indoor African drum and dance performance, silent auction, video and a complimentary authentic Ghanaian snack to raise awareness, hope and funds for Tiyumba Foundations youth development and cultural learning center. Dahinsheli means "future" in Dagbani, the local language spoken in Tamale, Ghana.
The Tiyumba Youth Development & Cultural Center (TYDCC) works to shape the future of young people through deep cultural knowledge, formal education and skills. We are chipping in to build a strong foundation of support for the youth and their families in northern Ghana. Join us!
TYDCC is run by Master Drummer & Dancer Fatawu Sayibu.
All proceeds will support the ongoing work of the school including making the new building move-in ready for regular use.
