Arukah Project is a Santa Cruz based non-profit 501C-3 that works to restore, renew, and rebuild the lives of sex trafficking survivors in Santa Cruz County. Every week there is between 100-200 sex trafficking victims in Santa Cruz County and Natasha was one of those local victims.
Now a survivor, we chose her in honor of her immense courage and bravery. Natashas run for justice took her over 15 years. She fought for her voice to be heard, for people to believe her, and to see her trafficker brought to justice. Due to her unwavering determination, her trafficker was sentenced to 174 years in prison, preventing him from ever terrorizing another victim again.
We are excited to have the first annual Natashas 5k Run for Justice, presented by Arukah Project and Truth2Freedom! This event will be held on Sunday, June 12, 2022 from 9 am - 2 pm.
This will be a day of family fun for all! After the 5k run/walk through Nisene Marks, attendees are welcome to enjoy the activities to follow, including food trucks, a beer and wine garden, face painting, bounce houses, and a concert by the Alison Sharino Band!
This ticket grants you access to the concert and activities within Aptos Village Park.
