Crockett Elementary Summer Drama Camp
At our unique summer camp, kids write and improvise to create their own staged performance to showcase on Friday! Each day, campers rotate through sessions in art, music, dance, acting, and improv - with some fun time for camp games and recess. Students are divided by age and each play is written and performed with peers. Campers create and design their own set pieces, costumes and props. Each week has a unique theme so campers taking multiple weeks will get a new experience each session. There are opportunities for both indoor and outdoor activities throughout the day.
Whether the young person is new to drama or wants to further develop their skills, this one-week camp challenges each student with new skills in all areas of theatre.
Camp is open to all students in SMCISD & is supported by the Crockett Elementary PTO.
