Nevermore Chamber Music Festival: Eighth Blackbird
We are delighted to bring you the Nevermore Chamber Music Festival - a celebration of Chicago's most exciting classical and experimental musicians, aiming to reconnect and inspire community through music.
The Nevermore Chamber Music Festival is a new festival with the goal of reconnecting audiences and artists in a celebration of chamber music, while showcasing Chicago's newest performance venue, located in Humboldt Park at 3411 W North Ave.
The festival takes place May 19-22, 2022 with six concerts featuring six musical ensembles presenting a variety of programs based on the festivals theme of renewal and hope. The music ranges from classical favorites to cutting-edge new works.

Eighth Blackbird:
Eighth Blackbird moves music forward through innovative performance, advocacy for music by living composers, and its legacy of guiding an emerging generation of musicians. For this performance ensemble member Matthew Duvall will be joined by vocalist Jocelyn Zelasko and percussionist/composer Justin Peters to present works from Peters new album, Kinesthetics.
