The Cello Songs Project is singer-songwriter Jonatha Brooke and cellist Rebecca Arons creating inventive new settings for Jonatha's acclaimed folk/rock/pop songs.

MORE ABOUT JONATHA BROOKE (www.jonathabrooke.com):

Jonatha Brooke has been writing, recording and touring since her early days in Boston with her band, The Story.

After four major label releases, she took the reins and pioneered her own indie label, Bad Dog Records and has since released ten additional albums - including the companion CD to her critically acclaimed, one woman, Off-Broadway musical, My Mother Has Four Noses.

Jonatha has co-written with Katy Perry, the Dixie Chicks and Katharine McPhee. Shes written for three Disney films and multiple tv shows.  She also composed and sang the theme song for Joss Whedons Doll House. Jonatha is an international recording, touring artist and educator.


MORE ABOUT REBECCA ARONS:

Cellist Rebecca Arons is a dynamic performer and in-demand recording artist, arranger and producer who has worked with top orchestras, Broadway icons and rock and pops biggest stars like Stevie Wonder, The Eagles and Prince.

She is a member of the Minnesota Opera Orchestra and is founder and cellist of the STRINGenius Players. She also is a founding member of the Four Voices String Quartet and has performed with the Minnesota Orchestra and St. Paul Chamber Orchestra.

Rebecca received her B.M. Degree in Performance from Oberlin Conservatory of Music and Master and Doctoral degrees from the University of Minnesota School of Music. She is currently Adjunct Professor of Cello at the University of St. Thomas, St. Paul, MN.
