"Ground War" Documentary Film Screening
The non-profit sustainable landscaping initiative Midwest Grows Green and Sierra Club Greater Grand Rapids grassroots movement Growing Green invites you to a public viewing of the documentary Ground War on Thursday, September 9, 2021 from 6:30 to 9:30 pm. The Ground War documentary follows a filmmakers investigation into the death of his father and the links to the golf industry and chemical lobbying. After the film, we will host a panel discussion with MGGs Ryan Anderson and others to discuss natural lawn care progress in the Grand Rapids region.
The documentary viewing will take place outside as the sun sets under a tent at Canal Park courtesy of City Built Brewing Company.
The $10 fee included hors-doeuvres from City Built Brewing. All proceeds go towards MGG pesticide-free park work in the Grand Rapids region.
