Barak Hill's Sketches Scraps and Lines: The Shandies and Dallas Jones
Sketches, Scraps, and Lines is a monthly songwriter showcase hosted by Barak Hill. Each show features a brief interview and a set of original songs from two of Barak's favorite songwriters.
Barak's guests for August are The Shandies (Natalie Wlodarczyk and Shannon Stine) and Dallas Jones.
The Shandies write and perform an eclectic mix of songs that incorporates folk, country, rock, and pop. Their signature sound is marked by tight vocal harmonies and the creative blending of their two acoustic guitars.
Dallas Jones is a folk rock singer/songwriter with eight albums of original songs to his credit. He's a well-known performer in the area, whether solo, as part of the Dallas Jones & Molly Healey duo, or with one of his many bands (The Hurricanes, The Refugees, and many more). His most recent album, Waiting on the Rain Volume 2, was released in 2020.
You're welcome to bring your own drinks, alcoholic or otherwise. However, this is a quiet, listening room show, as well as a live podcast taping. Talking or being in anyway disruptive during the show will not be tolerated.
