The Traverse City Dance Project Community Tour is launching a free outdoor performance in collaboration with Glen Arbor Arts Center at Thoreson Farms. This program includes Vivaldi's "The Four Seasons" featuring a string quartet from the Traverse Symphony Orchestra, choreographed by Artistic Directors Brent Whitney & Jennifer McQuiston Lott as well as guest choreographers Alyssa Meyers, Maddy Falconer, and Madison Vamostack. The second part of the evening includes a contemporary dance premier by guest choreographer Kara Wilkes with electronic composers Kevin Beck & Spencer Aubrey. The program concludes with an optional Q & A with the dancers, choreographers, and musicians. BYOB!
Seating is limited (only 200 seats available) and the rest is blanket or bring your own chair style seating. Use the button below to reserve a FREE advanced spot. We will have a will-call list for all ticket holders to check-in.
NO PHYSICAL TICKETS WILL BE ISSUED, JUST NAMES ON THE RSVP LIST. We will not be offering a bar but feel free to picnic with a beverage. We hope you can make it to this magical evening of dance and classical music at the Thoreson Farm campus.
