PDP Songwriting Workshops

During these one week workshops, participants will learn about the basics of Musical Theatre Songwriting and how musicals are constructed in general through lyric-writing
exercises and close readings of musical theater classics. Participants will also collaborate on
the creation of a brand new 10-minute musical, which will be unique for each session. No
previous songwriting experience required!

Enrollment will be limited to ensure individualized attention.

For Ages 12-18
Week One: June 22-June 26 (1:30-3:30pm)
Week Two: July 6-July 10 (1:30-3:30pm)
Week Three: July 20-July 24 (1:30-3:30pm)

Participation Fee:
$95 per week sign up for as many or as few weeks as desired, each week will be an entirely different experience!

Note:
Participants will be expected to complete brief (15-20 minute) homework assignments following each class. They will also be expected to film their final product and send it in by Sunday at 5pm after their completed session. The full video will premiere the Friday after the
session is complete.
