CANCELED - Ruth Reichl - Presented by St. Louis County Library
In response to growing concerns over the spread of COVID-19, St. Louis County Library has canceled the May 2 event with Ruth Reichl. The decision was made in accordance with St. Louis County s extended shelter-in-place status. We apologize for the inconvenience and disappointment. We hope to reschedule the event later in the year.

Trailblazing food writer and beloved restaurant critic Ruth Reichl took the job (and the risk) of a lifetime when she entered the high-stakes world of magazine publishing. Now, for the first time, she chronicles her groundbreaking tenure as editor-in-chief of Gourmet. Complete with recipes, "Save Me the Plums" is a personal journey of a woman coming to terms with being in charge and making a mark, following a passion and holding on to her dreams--even when she ends up in a place she never expected to be.

The proceeds from this event will benefit St. Louis County Library's literacy programs.
