SqueezeBox Queens: A Banquet of Bellows!
The May 24, 4pm was originally scheduled as part of Carpe Diem Arts' Music in the Gallery concert at Ulrika Leander's beautiful tapestry gallery in Royal Oak, Maryland featuring Sunniva Brynnel from Sweden.
With the Covid turn of events, we decided to seize the day and create a virtual mini-festival of female accordion and bandoneon players--while also supporting our featured artists who are struggling to make ends meet during this time of crisis.
We hope you can join us and be part of the event in the Zoom Gallery.

ABOUT THE ARTISTS
JENNIFER CUTTING, Host-Emcee and featured performer: Jigs and dance tunes from the English tradition on melodeon (diatonic button accordion)
HEYNI SOLERA: Tango and classical selections on the Bandoneon, including arrangements by Astor Piazzolla
RACHEL BELL: Old and new tunes rooted in Celtic, French, English, and Quebecois traditions
SUNNIVA BRYNNEL: Tunes and songs from the Swedish West Coast and beyond
ANNE WATTS: Avant-garde, blues, pop, jazz-inspired original songs
JEN MAURER: Zydeco songs on the diatonic accordion: standards and originals
