2nd Annual Ceilidh to Benefit the Maryland Youth Pipe Band
Join the Maryland Youth Pipe Band for its 2nd annual ceilidh. A ceilidh is a social event at which there is Scottish or Irish folk music and singing, traditional dancing, storytelling, and food, and we would love to have you join us in the audience AND on the stage.

The mission of the MYPB is to foster leadership, personal confidence, and appreciation of the arts by providing musical instruction and group performance opportunities to school-age youth. Our musicians learn to play bagpipes and/or Scottish drums while they promote traditional bagpipe music and Celtic culture within the community. The MYPB has been a part of the MoCo community for over 50 years, first as the Peary High School Pipe Band, then the Rockville High School Pipe Band, and now we are the Maryland Youth Pipe Band.
